I'm Back
I has been a long time since I've written anything on here. I guess I should catch you up.
2006 Lived in a house on Tinker Place in Nebraska.
Feb 2007 moved just up the street into a house on 15th Ave.
Mar 2007 DH got approved to train into a new job with the Air Force.
May 2007 DH left for Texas to learn his new job.
June 2007 The rest of us went back to Wisconsin for the summer.
August 2007 We returned from Wisconsin to find about 2 inches of water in our basement.
August 2007 Spent the rest of August cleaning out the basement, categorizing and taking pictures of all the items lost in the flooded basement.
October 2007 DH returns from Texas.
October 31st 2007 Movers pack our house and leave for Maryland.
Nov 3rd 2007 We start our vacation in Wisconsin on our way to Maryland.
Nov 23rd 2007 M and I are in a car accident with one of the two cars we planning on bring to Maryland. We are ok. The car is damaged but still driveable.
Nov 24th 2007 We leave for Maryland. Our family is in the minivan and DH's parents are driving the damaged car.
Nov 25th 2007 We arrive in Maryland. We stay in the Temporay lodging that the military has.
Dec 3rd 2007 We moved to a Hotel (it was cheaper, we had more room and we didn't have to deal with the staff at the Lodging).
Dec 24th 2007 We were able to stay at the house of a Navy family who went to New Jersey for Christmas.
Dec 27th 2007 We finally got our house on Fort Meade. Our household goods arrived and we started setting up our new house.
May 2009 We started looking for a house to purchase. We found one and put an offer in. It was accepted, we had the house inspection and everything was great. We are going to be home buyers.
June 8th 2009 We got the keys to our new home. We started the moving in process.
Sept 2009 We got word that in February of 2010 DH will be leaving for a year tour away from home.
We are currently waiting for the military to decide where we will be going after that. We may not know for a while. We have applied to go to Germany, England, Alaska or Japan as our overseas choices. We also applied for Nebraska, Illinois, Ohio, Virginia and California.
I would really like to get overseas. I loved it when we went to Italy and Switzerland when DH was in Bosnia.
I will update more later.
